Executive Selection by (covert) recruitment advertising is the alternative to Executive Search and is a particularly successful way of attracting Middle Managers through national advertising.

ANONYMITY The client's identity remains undisclosed while a pre-agreed advertisement is placed in the name of the consultants. The advantage being that a salary figure may be stated which generally produces a better response than advertisements placed by the clients themselves. For the applicant, the involvement of the consultant avoids the risk of them applying to their current employers. Furthermore, knowing the identity of the client might deter some good potential candidates from applying due to some erroneous preconceived impression of the client, or the location. 

 

 

APPLICATIONS The consultancy deals with all correspondence relating to the handling of applications with the added option that applicants may also telephone the consultant in the evenings or at weekends for an informal chat about the position. It is a house rule that all applicants are sent an acknowledgement within 2 working days of receipt and that unsuccessful applicants receive a polite letter of rejection. From this point the process continues in much the same way as with Executive Search. 

 
people with aeroplane INTERVIEWS Once the first round of initial interviews have been conducted, the consultancy will then ensure that appointments are arranged between the client and the short-listed candidates, that references are taken up and that medical and/or other examinations are undertaken. Advice may be offered to clients relating to the negotiation of the appointment including compensation and benefits arrangements. 
 
COMMITMENT Our commitment to each client is to continue working on an assignment until it is satisfactorily completed, though our aim is to complete assignments within approximately three months. Once an appointment is made it is important that the appointee is assisted in making the transition to the client's organisation. The consultancy will assist in this process if required.
